Networking Event a Success at VW's Social Bar

On Wednesday evening, the University of Manitoba IEEE (UMIEEE) Student Branch hosted a successful networking event at VW's Social Bar. The event brought together members and non-members of IEEE, professionals in practice, and employers to connect and network.
With around 30-35 attendees, the event saw representation from organizations such as UMIEEE, IEEE YP, IEEE WIE, UMSAE, and UMSATS. The attendees participated in a unique and engaging BINGO networking activity where they had the opportunity to meet and talk to one another while filling out squares based on their conversations.
The semi-formal event took place from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM and provided a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for attendees to network and connect. The successful turnout of the event is a testament to the importance of networking opportunities for students and professionals alike.
The UMIEEE Student Branch would like to extend its gratitude to all those who attended and made the event a success. We look forward to continuing to provide opportunities for our members and the wider community to connect and network in the future.
